My parents had gotten me the medium size for Christmas and it worked really well for my 60lb guy and I decided to get one for my 15lb Boston terrier. Definitely a good purchase, but there are always some downsides. It is not going to completely reduce the water spillage from your dog drinking water but it does greatly reduce it. Also, i tend to forget about the water that falls to the bottom container which is bad because it can mold. Another thing I forget is that you can’t pick up the whole thing buy the designated handles it has on the top for picking up. Why you ask? Well if there is water in the bottom portion it will fall off and splash the dirty water all over you and the surrounding areas... pick it up from the bottom portion always. Just some advice.

All that food would end up on the floor, under the fridge, everywhere. I ordered the small dog feeder because it was less expensive and the only difference is larger bowls. As you can see in the picture, it is the perfect height for my small-side- of-average cats. I love these feeders and only wish I'd found them sooner. We've had them for about a month and only 2-3 little kibbles have found their way to the floor. They're easy to clean and the variety of colors allows you to match any decor. You can also buy extenders to increase the height if needed.

Misha Worth ItVerified BuyerWe used this for our cat. Before I had taped her bowl to a plastic cutting board so the crumbs wouldn't get everywhere. It only worked so-so and didnt look good. This works great, looks good and keeps all the crumbs in. My cat wasn't so excited and tried to bring her food to the floor and eat it. I recommend watching and correcting your pet if this happens. The only thing I dont like is the bottom is really loose and my cat didnt like how deep the metal bowl was since her collar clinked against it. I just put her current plate on top of it and she seemed satisfied with that.

I love how it comes apart, it makes it extremely easy to keep neat. I havent had to clean up a single spill in weeks! It keeps the food and water bowl suspended above the splash tray. The red portion the bowls sit in is slanted toward the grates that funnel the spills into the tray beneath. The tan splash trey also has rubber(ish) pads on the bottom so it doesnt slip around, suuuper convenient. The water bowl is slightly larger as well so you know which is which and our little Masago KNOWS thats his. 100% reccomend! Also I like the small bowls approach because those large feeders/water tanks because bacteria/stale water seems not right. This forces me to give a good schedule of feeding and refilling the water around twice-three times a day

It worked for that very well, but also my other cats drink more out of this than the other bowls and fountains I have. Not sure what it is, but they love it. It’s helped one of my cats with kidney issues Drink more water and maintain his levels. The whole thing is also easy to clean in the dishwasher.
