This is a fantastic tool! I use this for my cat, and I was always terrified to cut the quick. There's a light and a magnifying glass to help so you never have to wonder. I like that you can keep the light on, turn it off, or have it auto turn on as you clip ( because Kitty likes to chase the light). The blade is sharp and easy to use with a protective cover. My favorite feature is that it catches the clippings!

I picked up this dog nail clipper with the built-in LED light hoping it would make trimming time easier — and honestly, it does! The light makes it easy to see exactly where you’re cutting, which gives me a lot more confidence and helps avoid going too short. It cuts through the nails quickly and cleanly without leaving rough edges.Now, the LED doesn’t magically stop Roxy or Bernie from acting like I’m trying to murder them — they still squirm and give me the sad eyes — but at least the job gets done faster and safer. Overall, it’s a solid tool that makes a stressful chore a bit more manageable for both me and the pups.

These are the only way that I feel safe doing my senior blind poodles nails. The light gives much needed confidence in where you are cutting. I also have a grinder I use after.

This is a truly great product. It broke when I dropped it and the reservoir cracked open and the blade fell out. Will be buying again though...it’s made cutting my dogs nails easier.

I have gone threw so nail clippers and pedi paws and nothing woulf clip my puppers nails. So many broke on the first nail. These were super easy and quick. Yes my dog hates getting his nails done. But after the firat nail anf ge reliezed it wasnt bad he let me do the rest! Hadnt broken yet but only used once.

First time I ever cut a dogs nails and it was easy to use and the light is placed well so I can see the quick. When holding so the blade cuts up i was getting frayed edges on the sides and I had to use a file. Next time I will try to cut at a down angle. My 1 year old Australian Shepard didn't seem to be fazed a bit.

Absolutely love this nail clipper! Very handy to have especially if you have smaller dogs. I have four rescue Chihuahuas, which include an 8 pound Chihuahua, 9 pound Chihuahua terrier mix, an 11 pound dachshund miniature pinscher mix and a 14 pound dachshund Chihuahua mix! This clipper works well on all four of them! I love the magnification along with the light very handy to have if your dogs have very dark black nails you will not be able to see where you need to not cut! For lighter nails it works amazing! In addition, it does have a guard, even if your dogs have darker nails to make sure that you only cut a small section at a time for safety reasons! The side area where the nail clippings are held is amazing easy to empty. I recommend this to anyone who have small dogs. If you have a cat, I don’t know anything about how well eclipse due to the fact we do not have cats.

I have a chihuahua that cannot sit still and it seems to be the end of life when it comes to clipping nails. This works really well, fast, sharp, and you really can see the veins and quick area. My husky just sits there and doesn't even know I'm clipping her nails and my lab with black nails, this product eases your mind on where to clip. The color helps to not loose them, very safe in my book, the size is comfortable to hold, and the noise of clipping is minimum. Comes with an extra clipper blade also. Oh and the clipped pieces of nail get held in the magnifying part for easy disposal.

I was super nervous using this the first time, but the light makes it easy to see where the vein in the claw ends. I clip them every couple of weeks. No amount of treats or praise will get her to use the scratching toys, but she doesn't seem to mind. (I do put her in a burrito and have someone else hold her just in case. I would feel so bad if she got hurt) I probably could cut her claws back further like the vet does, but this keeps her from clawing up my furniture too bad. She can still use her claws to grab stuff, but they don't puncture. I thought about using those caps, but I didn't want to mess with super glue, or have her chew them off and swallow plastic.

These clippers are amazing, especially the light feature. It really helps you see where to cut, which makes trimming much safer and less stressful for me. They feel comfortable and easy to hold. These clippers are a bit complex to operate but my little dog is willing to have her nails trimmed with them when it’s a fight with any other clippers. I really like them.

So my dogs nails are dark brown and extremely hard to see. She also really hates getting her nails cut, but it was so easy to use this and I had no trouble out of her! I had been taking her to the groomers just for a nail cut, but it was $10 everytime. Not including the drive and gas it took to get there. So I thought I would try this out and it works great!! I can’t see her nail quick as well as I’d hoped, but I don’t blame the product. Her nails are just very dark, but this worked wonders!!! It also has a trimming catcher so I didn’t have to clean any up or go on the hunt for them around the house! I would definitely recommend if you have a pup who hates their nails being trimmed and if you like zero mess!

If there were ten stars --- it's a TEN! We have a pile of maybe, shoulda, woulda worked clippers (some with lights that never lit) --- garbage. Doodle and Springer allowed for trimming claws with Allstar Innovations &&& WITH NO BLOOD --- whew! This is by far the best LIGHTED version! P.S. - It's good to have a regular (no light) quality pair on hand too.

I've spent money on several different nail trimmers for our new puppy and wasn't happy with any of them. Finally found this one, and it has it all - good price, the blade is sharp and doesn't splinter the nails, the lights help you see exactly where NOT to cut, and the clipping catcher is super helpful for cleanup. You don't need a lot of grip strength to use this, either. This trimmer made the whole process so easy and quick!

these are the best dog nail clippers I've ever had! Very nice quality! It has a built in light AND magnifying cover over the very sharp blades. With the cap over the blades, the tiny clippings don't fly off into the rug somewhere. The cover is also a magnifier that allows you to see the tiny nails better and the led lights make it so easy to see the quick which prevents over cutting and causing bleeding and soreness. They even pack an extra blade! The price is very affordable and I will never buy another brand. These clippers ARE AMAZING HELPFUL and SO MUCH SAFER FOR YOUR DOGS NAILS!!

Definitely a purchase I am not mad about due to the price! My dogs HATE the electrical filer. Maybe it's the vibration and sound it made but my dogs never let me file the nails. It was such a hassle. But with this nail clipper both my dogs let me with little to no squirming! I love that it has a guard for the nail clippings but tbh it doesn't really stay closed so be careful and keep watch of the clippings!!

I bought two different nail clippers and was always very nervous clipping my golden retrievers nails. I had a very hard time seeing the nail vain my eyesight is not same as when I was younger and even with glasses it was hard to see. So I just gave up and would take him to the vet or groomer every month to get them trimmed. It was getting expensive at $20 bucks a trip. I found these clippers with 4 led lights and the magnifying lens and I am now clipping his nails like a pro. They are sharp and did a great job, I even flipped the magnifying lens back and just used the led lights it’s nice that the lens is movable. I highly recommend these clippers and so does Sam my dog.

I always been afraid to cut my dogs nails by myself because I know if I cut too deep I can hurt them, with this clipper is easier because I can see where I shouldn’t cut or where I should stop cutting. My dog is a pussycat so he didn’t like the light at first , but after a few try he got used to it. My other dog didn’t cared about the light. I think the blade is not that sharp, I do struggle a little to cut my dogs nails and they are super small dogs, when I try to cut their nails, the nails turn to the sides so I end up not getting a clean cut. But overall I love the fact that I can cut their nails safely.

I’m so happy I purchased this. My dog famously does not like nail trims and I could never see the quick because her nails are dark but not black but also not white. The lights on the end do really well to show where the quick is! It would be nice if the lights had an on/off option instead of being activated by slightly pressing the handles but still works amazing. 5 stars.

I've had dogs my whole life and always cut their nails. I learned that the guillotine blade was the best design. But this one improves the process so much. My dog now has never let me near his nails--he doesn't even like me talking about his paws! This clipper is fast and efficient. My Brussels Griffon allowed me to breeze through the process. A miracle, after 6 years of losing the battle and having to pay $25/month to have a groomer trim his nails. We're both happy! Note: as they mention, the light doesn't help show you the quick of the nail if your dog has black nails. But the magnification and the light are indispensable to see the nail and trim in one movement. Stay calm (it really helps)!

I love this thing! I have a small dog (with clear nails) and a large dog (with black nails) and this works great. I saw a few reviews saying that it does t give a nice even cut but I have not had that problem at all. It cuts just fine for me. I also seen a few reviews about how the plastic is cheap, but it works for me. Yes, it is plastic but I do not feel like I will break it when I use it. I love the light and the magnifying feature on the side. I am also happy with the guard that holds all the mail clippings. This is a good product

This nail clipper is the best! My dog doesn’t like any other brand to clip his nails, he usually hets anxiety when clipping his nails. Not with Allstars Innovations PetiCare. Definitely recommend it for all small animals. My dog is a Shih Tzu.

My best gal does not like her feet messed with. Not really unusual for dogs. I had tried conventional clippers as well as electric grinder types. I'm somewhat hard of seeing and of course that added to her anxiety as I fumbled to see her nails etc. Because of the light and magnifier there was less messing around. After I calmed her down offered treats after each clipping she is a different dog. This really works for us. If you are having trouble with your eyesight this could be a solution. At the price I think it's well worth a try
